Ultraviolet light (UV - ultraviolet) is a part of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum with a frequency range higher than visible light and lower than X-rays. The ultraviolet spectrum covers wavelengths from a few nanometers (nm) up to several hundred nanometers, corresponding to frequencies from 10¹⁴ Hz to 10¹⁷ Hz. As with other parts of the spectrum, there are no sharp boundaries. Ultraviolet rays are high-energy photons. UV light is divided into three subregions — UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C—which differ in frequency and thus in wavelength and energy. The largest natural source of UV radiation is the Sun.

The P+L brand is recognized in the insect control and elimination device market for its unique solutions and innovations, confirming its leading role in this field for nearly three decades. With a rich product range, P+L offers several of the most respected insect elimination device models, which over the years have evolved in the market almost as standalone brands. |
Exocutor™ is the leading product on the market, the best-selling device in Europe, followed by the most efficient Flytrap Professional™. As it is capable of meeting the most important criteria — high efficiency in the fight against flying insects, high build quality, and of course price — the P+L product range can provide an effective solution to insect problems in any environment.
Devices for controlling and eliminating insects are divided into 4 categories – Electric Grid devices (which use an electrically charged grid to eliminate insects), Glueboard (which use a sticky surface to trap insects), Decorative, and devices used for preventive action, providing the necessary level of protection in different conditions. Each category contains devices developed to meet the specific requirements of the environments in which they are used, based on twenty-five years of experience in the production and application of these devices.
Through a developed distributor network that spans 6 continents and over 60 countries, P+L is a global leader in the production, distribution, and customer support. With well-stocked distribution centers in Northern and Southern Europe, delivery times for any type of device are minimized across all parts of the continent.
