Germicidal UV lamps are designed for disinfection of air and surfaces in enclosed spaces. Due to the increasing presence of microorganisms, their use is expanding across various sectors—medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, food and chemical industries, agriculture, cosmetics, sports facilities, and other environments where effective sterilization is essential. These lamps operate using UV radiation at a wavelength of 253.7 nm, which effectively destroys microorganisms without the need for chemical agents. Direct exposure of humans and animals to this type of UV light is not recommended, unless proper protective equipment is used. For safety reasons, these lamps are intended for use only in unoccupied areas during operation. The lamp housings are made from stainless steel (inox) or powdercoated steel, ensuring durability and long-term reliability.
